Programme structure

The first semester consists of three shared courses, which will provide you with solid foundations in the design of websites, digital tools and methods for studying users and their needs to ensure a good user experience. At the end of this semester, you will choose your specialisation track:

  • Interaction design

In the interaction design track, you learn to design and adapt digital interfaces to support hybrid work and design and test interactions between artificial agents, social and industrial robots, chatbots etc. for a range of different applications, for instance, as health coaches.

  • Organisational Web Communication

In the organisational web communication track, you learn to lead and facilitate digital communication and management processes in companies and organisations. You learn to carry out social network analyses to mobilize knowledge across social networks, like through social media, but also within company contexts, to facilitate hybrid work situations and to manage communication in companies and institutions.

Each track includes:

2nd semester: Two specialisation courses, one elective course.
3rd semester: One specialisation course, one elective course, and a shared course: a project in collaboration with companies or public organisations.
4th semester: Master’s thesis, written either individually or in a small group.

Here you can see an example of what a study week might look like. It is important to emphasise that this is not a direct reflection of what your schedule will look like when you start the programme.
