Patents at the library
Most Western countries have now made their patent collections available in online databases.
Patents can therefore be found by searching these databases, or in the common interface which contains 60 million patents from around the world.
Library Facilities include access to the which is an advanced tool to search the EPO's worldwide patent data.
The University Library has a unique collection of all Danish patents from the first issued in 1895.
Danish patents until 1972 are available in printed form; from 1972, as microfiche; and from 1998 on CD-ROM.
Access to the all patent databases is without charge.
