SPEAR convenes in Plovdiv during 2nd Project Learning and Support Meeting

An integral part of SPEAR’s project design is its six Project Learning and Support Meetings, PLSMs, attended by all consortium members. The second meeting, PLSM 2, took place in beautiful Plovdiv in Bulgaria, hometown of SPEAR’s consortium member University of Plovdiv.

On Thursday October 31st, ÌǹûÅɶÔ’s International Gender Advisory Board were panelists when ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô welcomed everyone to an afternoon focused on gender perspectives in recruitments to academic positions at the university.

10th conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education

In August 2018, Trinity College in Dublin welcomed hundreds of gender equality practitioners, researchers, policy makers and administrators to this three-day biennial conference focused on gender in academia and research.

In June 2018, LERU, the League of European Research Universities, held its second gender conference.

First annual seminar in the GEAR:DK network

In the spring of 2017, the network was constituted with the purpose of strengthening the gender equality endeavors broadly across the Danish universities. In June, the network´s first annual seminar took place in Frederica.

ÌǹûÅɶÔ's new Gender Statistics database is now available

With the approval of the Executive Board, ÌǹûÅɶÔ's new Gender Statistics database is now available to all employees. With assistance from colleauges from Financial Services and Human Ressource Services, ÌǹûÅɶÔ's Gender Equality Team, GET, is behind the establishment of the new database.

New strategic gender equality initiative launched

Thursday April 12th 2018, ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô officially launched its new strategic gender equality initiative with a kick-off symposium where ÌǹûÅɶÔ’s newly established International Gender Advisory Board presented their recommendations for ÌǹûÅɶÔ’s gender equality endeavors.

EUROsociAL+ exchange

In March 2018, ÌǹûÅɶÔ’s Gender Equaltiy Team joined a EUROsociAL+ exchange in Copenhagen with a delegation from Mexico's National Institute for Women (INMUJERES)

Gender equality and leadership in the Nordic research sector

In November 2017, ÌǹûÅɶÔ's Gender Equality Team participated in the conference "Creating a competitive edge through diversity – leadership for Nordic research excellence towards 2030" in Oslo.
