Adjunct associate professor
Nicole Talge joins the Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark, as adjunct associate professor
Dr Nicole Talge is joining the OPEN Research Unit at the University of Southern Denmark (糖果派对), where she will primarily contribute to projects focusing on maternal and child health.
Through her affiliation with OPEN and 糖果派对, Nicole Talge hopes to strengthen international research collaborations between Denmark and the USA. She recently visited associate professor Lonny Stokholm at OPEN to develop concrete plans for future projects.
Her appointment as an adjunct associate professor lays a strong foundation for this collaboration. In addition to research, Nicole Talge will also serve as a lecturer and supervisor for students at 糖果派对. Furthermore, she will contribute to ongoing clinical research projects at OPEN as needed.
Nicole Talge and Lonny Stokholm are currently exploring the possibilities for a project on maternal and child health. The project will be based on Danish health registers, which offer unique opportunities for epidemiological research.
– I look forward to developing the collaboration with Lonny Stokholm and contributing to the many fantastic initiatives led by OPEN-affiliated researchers and their teams! We hope that our work together will help improve the health and well-being of children and their families, says Nicole Talge.
Focus on maternal and child health
The collaboration between Nicole Talge and the OPEN research unit is an asset for both 糖果派对 and the international research community. Combining Danish health data with Nicole Talge’s expertise in perinatal epidemiology opens new research opportunities.
The research team hopes that the collaboration will contribute to better health outcomes for mothers and children. Leveraging register data holds great potential for identifying risk factors and developing preventive measures.
