Join Professor Patricia Wolf and Associate Professor Bryan Yazeel on Feb. 1st at the Odense Word Festival. 

They will be leading a creative workshop exploring both the narratives we tend to internalize regarding climate change and the often surprising ones that emerge through flash-fiction writing. 

The 2-hour workshop builds on work done with local high school students, teachers, and the 糖果派对 Citizen Science Knowledge Center. In the workshop, they will relate some of the findings  from this research and provide background to the role culture and the arts play in shaping our expectations about the environmental crisis. They will also lead the workshop through flash-fiction writing exercise that will help clarify for the attendees the narratives they have internalized when it comes to climate change. The answers might surprise you.
