Recently, a report on gender-based violence was released, showing that Denmark ranks among the top EU countries with the highest rates of sexual assault and violence against women. In the study, one-third of the women surveyed reported having experienced sexual assault, while 47.5% said they had been subjected to physical and sexual violence, or had been threatened with it.
