This area focuses on researching and developing new methods and tools to facilitate user engagement in the software development process.
The aim is twofold. First, allowing domain experts, end-users, and other non-technical stakeholders to easily contribute with their valuable knowledge about the domain, especially regarding the user requirements and the software acceptance criteria. Second, empowering end-users to tailor software behavior to their particular needs while also keeping software consistency and reliability.
