What is the function of the Research Council?
- The Research Counsil meets two to three times a year, and each meeting last approximately one and a half hour.
- The purpose of the meetings are to ensure that the research is innovative and focuses on the patient, that there is cooperation and good communication between day-to-day operations and the Research Unit, that there is coherence between the Research Unit's and Odense University Hospitals research strategy.
What topics does the Research Council discuss?
- Ethical and statistical considerations.
- Inputs from Patient Representatives in relation to fund applications and projects.
- New projects started in the Research Unit.
- Research strategy.
- Etc.
Who is part of the Research Council?
The Research Council for the Research Unit for Plastic Surgery consists of nine members.

- Two Professors from the Research Unit
- The Heads of the Department for Plastic Surgery
- One PhD student
- Two Patient Representatives
- One Research Assistant
