About ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Center for Large Structure Production (LSP)

The ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Center for Large Structure Production (LSP) is creating novel robotics solutions at a scale never seen before

Welcome to ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Centre for Large Structure Production (LSP) - we are a dedicated and passionate team of people working to create automated robotic solutions for large structures. We are actively working to transform the industry's approach to manufacturing in The Energy, Construction, and Maritime Sectors.

Our team

Our team consists of a diverse group of engineers, researchers and PhD students who believe in the potential of integrating advanced robotics technologies to improve the work environment, efficiency, accuracy, and sustainability of large structures.

Our Expertise and Goals

We combine our expertise in robotics and automation to create the right solutions for manufacturing environments in collaboration with our industry partners. Our goal is to offer solutions that not only optimize production for our partners, but also reduce time consumption and environmental impact.

Collaboration and Innovation

At ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Center for Large Structure Production (LSP), we focus on collaboration and innovation. We believe in creating partnerships both internally and externally that enable the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best practices. Our team is dedicated to continuous learning and development to stay at the forefront of technological advancement.

In collaboration with our partners across Denmark and Europe, we create novel solutions that help businesses become greener and more efficient, whilst addressing severe skill shortages and improving the working conditions.

Our History

In the 1990s, the University of  Southern Denmark (ÌǹûÅɶÔ) and Odense steel shipyard collaborated on robotic welding solutions, leading to the establishment of the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute (MMMI) at ÌǹûÅɶÔ. Odense has since become a global robotics hub, with ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Robotics, where ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Center for Large Structure Production (LSP) originates from, spearheading new research. The LSP Test Center, opening in 2026, continues ÌǹûÅɶԒs legacy in robotics research within a focus on automation solutions.

Thank you for exploring ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Center for Large Structure Production. We look forward to working with you and creating a more efficient, innovative, and sustainable future together.
