The Danish Blood Donor Study

The research unit is an active part of the national Danish Blood Donor Study, which has enrolled more than 150,000 Danish blood donors, who have both completed health questionnaires and provided blood samples and DNA to the country's largest project biobank. The material is used extensively to answer a range of scientific questions regarding the health of the donors. There are published approx. 1 scientific article per month in this study.
