Abstract:
This talk will try to explain why you might care about quantum factorisation groups. We explain the classical theory of quantum groups, the relation to physics, then prove some sanity-checks/basic structure theorems showing that our definition of quantum factorisation groups is reasonable. We will then give some examples. The last part of the talk is conjectural: having set up this structure there are quite a few interesting conjectures coming from physics.
