The research topics range from improving hearing outcomes for patients with severe hearing loss through cochlear implants to quality assurance of minor otologic procedures. Increasing focus is being directed toward patients experiencing dizziness, as their numbers are rising.
The scope of our research varies from national collaborations and PhD projects to smaller projects involving medical and audiology students from the University of Southern Denmark.
Our current research projects focus on:
- Cochlear implants – improving treatment outcomes
- Cholesteatoma – reducing recurrences
- Chronically dizzy patients and socio-economic aspects
- Concussion-related dizziness
- Optimizing the overall treatment of dizzy patients
Several members of our team also teach students at the University of Southern Denmark, ensuring that the latest research findings are shared with our students.
