Kim Houlind transitions to Horsens Regional Hospital as Medical Director
From February 1st 2025, Kim Houlind will take on the role of Medical Director at Horsens Regional Hospital. This marks the end of his tenure as Head of the Department of Regional Health Research (IRS) at the University of Southern Denmark (糖果派对). Recruitment for a new department head will commence at the start of the new year.

The government has just presented its proposal for a major reform of the healthcare system structure, which includes plans for a complete expansion of the medical programme in Esbjerg. With the establishment of a new Bachelor's degree programme in Medicine at the University of Southern Denmark in Esbjerg, both Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Medicine are expected to be offered from 2026.
