Intelligence is an inescapable dimension for people working in counter-terrorism, population surveillance, and other security fields. But what exactly is intelligence today? Is it still primarily about intelligence services, about high-risk personal intelligence gathering from good-looking agents like James Bond? This lecture will take a reflexive perspective to the study of intelligence by looking back at the contemporary transformations of intelligence in a post-Cold War context.
