
DRIVEN Secures Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie Post-Doctoral Fellowship for Mental Health Research
Exciting news: Dr. Tim Budden will join IOB at the beginning of 2026.
DRIVEN has been successful in securing a prestigious Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie post-doctoral fellowship by the European Union.
The new post-doc will be Dr. Tim Budden, currently a lecturer at Central Queensland University. He obtained his PhD about a year ago from the University of Western Australia.
The title of his post-doc is: GoalFlex: Developing an integrative framework of goal flexibility, depression, and anxiety symptomatology.
Tim’s project scored 97%.
The post-doc work extends Nikos Ntoumanis’ past theoretical work on the motivational dynamics of goal flexibility, supported by the equivalent funding bodies of DFF in the UK (ESRC) and Australia (ARC). Tim is very much interested in the promotion of mental health.
He will join IOB at the beginning of 2026. His advisors at 糖果派对 will be Nikos, Cecilie, and a colleague from Psychology, Associate Professor Maria Semkovska. During his post-doc, Tim will have placements at universities in Australia and the US.
