The purpose of this baseline survey is to map existing legislative barriers to nature-based solutions in Denmark and EU. This is with the aim of exchanging experiences and solutions to the experienced barriers across fields, partners and stakeholders. The mapping has been conducted by the WP5 working group in 2024 and is thus a snapshot of the barriers experienced in working with nature-based solutions in municipalities and water utilities.

In this Deliverable 5.1 the Model Region of Funen describes the regional transformational goals and targets for NbS leveraged transformation to resilience. The report is divided into two parts: The first about adaptation in the Model Region Funen and the second about regional goals and targets. The report gives an overview to the governance and climate adaptation in a Danish context, a climate risk assessment of the region and the goals and targets of Funen as a model region in ARCADIA. 

Last, the three Co-innovations laboratories and their focus is described.

ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô is a part of the Work Package 8 'Design & Performance' and together with Wageningen University have delivered an interactive Quick Reference Guide (iPDF) to guidelines on NbS and BGI as well as a report on the guidance.

The specific goal of Task 8.1 is to develop a guidance to design NbS and high-performing BGI networks that maximise response to local climate risks and societal needs, are well adapted to local circumstances and meet the visions of the Model and Fellows regions. By comparing needs expressed by the regions with more than 120 existing guidelines a Quick Reference Guide were developed to help find the relevant recommended guidelines.
