Abstract:

Given an abelian category, there is a general construction due to Joyce, which gives a structure of vertex (co)-algebra to the (co)homology of the moduli stack of objects in the category. In this talk, we will focus on the category of quiver representations and explain how this construction could be generalized to the setting of quiver with potential, i.e. on the cohomology of the sheaf of vanishing cycles associated to the potential. We show that the resulting vertex co-algebra structure is compatible with the Kontsevich-Soibelman cohomological Hall algebra. This perspective allows us to compute this vertex algebra explicitly in many interesting cases. This is joint work with Sarunas Kaubrys and Alexei Latyntsev.聽
