I am an Assistant Professor at ÌǹûÅÉ¶Ô Robotics and a Fellow (Assistant Professor) at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS). My research focuses on surgical robotics, particularly robot-assisted minimally invasive surgeries for treating complex diseases. I integrate robotic technology, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality to develop innovative solutions that enhance surgical precision and improve patient outcomes.

With extensive R&D and management experience across multiple countries, I strive to advance robotic-assisted procedures and drive the transition toward autonomous surgical systems. My vision is to see these robots widely deployed in hospitals, revolutionizing patient care by reducing invasiveness, minimizing trauma, and accelerating recovery.

Before joining ÌǹûÅɶÔ, I earned a dual PhD in medical robotics from Delft University of Technology and KU Leuven through the Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions program. My journey in medical robotics began at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), where I first engaged in research in this field.
