Catarina is a post-doctoral researcher at the DNRF center of excellence POLIMA – Center for Polariton-driven Light-Matter Interactions and of SOLEN –  SCC Elite Center on Solar Energy Conversion and Storage. Her main job consists in bridging the efforts of the two research centers, by combining several disciplines as physics, chemistry, material sciences, and photonics to understand and design solar energy conversion devices (such as photovoltaic or photoelectrochemical cells) optimally tuned for specific applications.
